Boggs Field is a public airport located in East Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana, United States. It is owned by the Baton Rouge Airport Authority. The airport covers an area of 560 acres and has one asphalt runway, which measures 7,004 feet in length. Boggs Field serves as a general aviation airport and is used for corporate and private flights, flight training, and recreational flying. It also serves as a reliever airport for the nearby Baton Rouge Metropolitan Airport. The airport has a fixed-base operator that provides fuel, maintenance, and other services for aircraft. Boggs Field has a control tower that operates from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm daily. It is named after Hale Boggs, a former U.S. congressman from Louisiana who died in a plane crash in 1972.
